I agree and like Philw, I don't generally visit TW anymore unless it's news related.

I quit the mailbag and fans comments awhile back. Doing my head in.

I used to news on it from time to time in College when i was bored, that's it really.

I used to like reading toffeeweb as I found it interesting to read other peoples views although I found it depressing that there was never any positivity. I'd go on the mailbag after a match where I thought we played ok and ust read endless crap about how poor we were.
Then I found this site and realised that there are evertonians out there who don't need to moan about everything and realise that we are achieving things with the current team and playing well at the same time.

i used to post in the mailbag until 'the management' decided legit names and legit email addresses only. when dutch schaeffer and a few others were banned, it was clearly a goose step too far.

On any given subject I think what I think. If I try and moderate my opinions so that they fit into what other fans would regard as either a pessimistic or an optimistic 'mindset' then I would be lying to myself and the people who read or listen to what I write and say.

'Too optimistic' and 'too pessimistic' do not exist; just thousands of unique fans and their unique take on any given subject.

If we really want a place where someone posts 'Arteta is great' and then everyone posts a thumbs up smiley then fair enough but no-one wants that do they?
