2 or 3 of us going over for the next home match and just wondering how much a taxi from Liverpool airport to the stadium in Widnes would be and back after to hostel in L1 8EE. I've been quoted £60, seems a bit excessive.

Hi, I can tell you Liverpool Airport is approx £10 away from the Widnes ground in a taxi.

A taxi back from Widnes to Liverpool City Centre is approx £30 although you can get the train from Widnes to lime street Liverpool for about £3. Widnes station is a ten minute walk from the ground.

I dont know where L1 8EE is, but I presume it is Liverpool City Centre
