The numbers that support our beleaguered and much maligned manager are dwindling by the week, however there are still a few blues out their soldering on with their unwavering support for big Sean.

Are they right ?





First up, it`s the fans fault defence.

It's just a position some people have taken up now: no matter what the evidence, or where we are vis-a-vis to where we were before he came, they wont budge. Painted themselves into a corner and wont budge.

I think we play our best football away from home precisely because half of Goodison are fans with attitudes like this.

If our takeover is compromised and goes sideways I'd have no hesitation in putting a new contract in front of Dyche. He'd again hold the fort until a takeover finally did come along.

We have no money and crap players defence.

and this summer if they sold their best players and gave him less money for transfers in, would he be expected to outperform his points total again? Or are the more likely scenarios he spends a huge amount to finish in more or less the same place or gets annoyed he can’t spend the amount he wants and jumps to another club?

It takes an extremely good manager and a lot of money to move up the table significantly and stay there.
