In anticipation of summer

Just realised it's an odd year so there'll be no footie tournament to mostly laugh at England's exploits and be threatened with a ban off here.

There is however the Lions tour of Australia followed directly by The Ashes. I'm really excited by summer now, that's three months of pure sporting bossness. Then the footie season starts.

Anything else to look forward to this summer?

Good call. Murray has a decent chance this year and the confidence of being a major winner.

Brazil v England in the Maracana on Sunday 2nd June b)

9 nights in Rio (hopefully get to some league games the weekend before the England game), then heading down to Montevideo for 4 days and catching Uruguay v France. Then up to Asuncion by bus for 3 days, during which Paraguay play Chile in a WC Qualifier.

After Asuncion I'm off to the Iguazu Falls for the sightseeing thingy before coming home.

The Ashes for sure, and mainly the warm weather. Sat in a mates house with 2 pairs of socks and a bodywarmer on.
