Good news but seems crazy it's taken so long, or that people have to apply for a Pardon! Shouldn't this be being done automatically/as a matter of course??

Yes, dear me. I can only imagine the dreadful consequences for a country becoming independent of supranational rule, like most countries on planet Earth.

I'm more nervous of the fact that such a discourse has taken place which has seen the likes of Liam Fox/ David Davis/ Farage/ many other right leaning, socially regressive individuals rise to prominence as a result, and their influence on the reshaping of UK politics in the aftermath of Brexit. As far as the actual leaving of the EU, I was neither plussed nor swayed either way particularly. I certainly hate the bigoted fools however that are thriving in its aftermath.

Anyway, Brexit for another thread perhaps.

That's one thing I did think odd- I know in Scotland they're automatically pardoned. Would be good to see this also brought in.
