at last imo we are showing signs of improving from back to front about time to!! we seem to have tightend up at the back while still scoring all be it not quite prolific as yet and the midfield seems to be finding there feet i feel a bit more optimistic.

He played well against Utd in the second half, he was a little shaky in the first.

I don't think he did anything wrong against Bolton.

His marking has been poor, he isnt getting back to defend, i was surprised that Baines didnt play last night instead of him.

I'd of agreed with that at the start of the season but to me he certainly has started to settle down the last few games.

Still not perfect but on his way back to as good as he was.

Hopefully he has forgotten all about scoring for the time being.

As much as I think Lescott is one of our main defenders, I think Baines should get an opportunity to have a few matches at left back.

Lescott could use a bit of a rest or a maybe a few matches in the middle of the defense.

without a doubt the team is improving . Of coarse it all starts at the back and with a reliable back 4 i think it gives the midfield a little more license to roam forward
If yak could get back on the goal path i think we could start to exspect to win games instead of hoping

Just whilst this thread is on the subject of Lescott - that IAMYAK guy on bluekipper says that Lescott wants to leave in January.

If thats true it brings up the same debates as when there was talk of Moyes leaving : who will want him?

Cant see any team with enough money to pay us what he is worth wanting him.
