I'm writing a novel

It's a novel based on real events. I still have to talk to people like Jimmy White, Maria Whittaker and Bonnie Tyler to see if they mind their names appearing, otherwise I'll have to come up with fictional names for them too.

It is autobiographical but I am writing it as a novel and with a pseudonym to save embarrassing my family. Besides, I like the idea of carrying on the deception ;-)
 

When I bought a copy of Alan Brazil's autobiography at a book signing, Mike Parry signed it after Al. When I told him it was for my Ipswich-supporting son-in-law, Mike added.... 'From a REAL football fan'!

I could probably tell you that now. As for if you'd want to buy it, I suppose it depends on the sort of thing you like. But it'll be funny, sad, intriguing and, ultimately, real seat-of-the-pants stuff. I guarantee you'll want him to get away with it but will be saying to yourself 'For f**ks sake, don't tell HIM about it!' I guess the tag line would be 'If you want to know about paranoia, go out and rob a bank!'
