BTW, we're not in recession.. but could well be in the early stages of a long depression. The growth of the last 3 decades was predicated on ever looser monetary policy and the accumulation of debt, and we will not return to those conditions again within our lifetimes.

how old are your kids? cant they walk to school? not being a cont on purpose mate. my kids walked every day cept if it was heaving down and i was available to take them. hope things change for the best mate.
