If you were tasked with eliminating 5 Olympic sports, what would they be?

Any sport where good is not the pinnacle for the competitors.
Golf (they'd rather win majors).
Tennis (grand slams)
Football (World Cup, Euros and domestic leagues)
Basketball (NBA)

And
Shooting (America bound to win with all the guns they have)

The thing with basketball is currently the Olympics are the pinnacle of the international game and eliminating it would be like throwing the World Cup out for football because the club game is better.

That said binning off Olympic basketball for an event that all the best NBA players can be a part of as an international tournament would be great.

I can't think of any other than golf and equestrian " sports " that I'd get rid of . I can pretty much watch anything . I was surprised that I enjoyed skateboarding and BMX as much as I did

Tried watching the field hockey the other day. Tough watch imo with the exception of their equivalent of a corner kick when all the defenders come running out of the goal. Liked that part

Names matter for me so I wouldn't watch amateurs but I do think a stroke play tournament with a low quality field, and let's be honest it is low quality, is a bad move.

That would be great. I wonder if the sport runs into a similar situation as women’s softball had several years ago in that it would be US vs. Canada for gold each time.
I’d love to see it though if it’s anything like the lacrosse World Cup you’d have some tribes participate as well

I remember getting shown a video of James Corden doing synchronised swimming. It absolutely knocked me sick.

How can you watch a sport where the competitors look like the cast of the League of Gentlemen.
