If you were Everton manager right now, what would you do next?

We didn't have a go every game. Especially in the big ones in the last 2 seasons - Chelsea aside (Lukaku wonder goal), we did nothing of that sort. In fact:

They had an attempt at goal every 2 and a half minutes... taking 30 mins off for throw ins ect... it's an attempt at goal at roughly 1 minute and 40 secs of play... that's a proper bending over ...

Pickford
Martina holgate Keane Baines
Klaassen/Davies Gueye
Sigurdsson
Vlasic Rooney lookman

Then bring sandro on at some point

433 with sigurdsson slightly advanced

I would trial this at Sunderland

I'm not rewriting anything, we have no goal scorer or creator, we also ship goals for fun only one-way this can go, unless you have a go, which we did with Bobby.

Which results in winning 29% in the league games in his last 2 season. Last season we got 7th and this season has 33 games to go so I suggest to sit back before drawing a quick conclusion.

Can you remember 4-4-2 with two solid centre halves, two full backs that had pace and could get up and down, a central midfield that included a destroyer and a player, two wingers that ran at defenders and tracked back and helped out the full backs, two up front with one dropping off and one playing on the last man.

Thats football right there.

Sounds like the mid 1980's Everton that Mick.

Quite a few World Cups and European Cups have been won using that very method in fact, then it became trendy to start messing around and having things like a trequiristaor however you spell it, false 9's and all the other gumph made up positions. Centrebacks used to play cb no matter what foot they used, there was none of this right sided centre back left sided centre back crap. Football is simple, people make it difficult.

No point asking people on here. Most striker's that came up in the transfer thread.
