I'm with @Groucho in that I'd probably set my own business up and be my own boss, a fairly lazy one at that. If I didn't work I'd quickly go mental.

Failing that I'd build a massive Go-Kart track in the garden and see out my days racing round on that.

I would stop working for a living in a heartbeat. I'm not one of the lucky people who are able to earn a living doing something they love. I do not think I would get bored, I have quite a few interests that would occupy a lot of my time and I still have some ambitions and challenges for myself. These include further education and working for the community.

Retirement? Bring it on, I look forward to the challenge.

The answer used to be no. Now I'm not sure. I think you need a reason for getting up every day. It wouldn't be what I'm doing now though.

Is money an issue in this scenario? In other words, am I rich? Or do I have enough to pay the bills and little more only?

If i somehow got millions (or billions) Id quit my job and use the money to start up my dream job and do that for love.

But if it was a case of my future spouse having a great paying job and me being a house husband, then i wouldnt give up work.

I'd play golf, go on holidays, spend quality time with the kids. There's no chance I'd get bored.
