If you collected Panini Stickers in the 70s & 80s

Looks like a fanatstic book for a bit of nostalgia. I actually have all the albums (complete) due to a costly ebay binge several years ago! Getting this anyway, may be worth giving someone a shove if they are short on xmas present ideas! Best thing about the 80s every player looks about 50 Amazon product ASIN 1399405225

My mrs is collecting the World Cup ones. The stickers are smaller and don’t have the same smell. I can always remember the smell of opening a new packet.

I still collect them, I've only once completed a book, once I start getting more than 3 or 4 swaps in a pack I give up. I did join a swap group on Facebook but it's 99% lads under 12 and it felt a bit weird when they were asking to meet up to swap, probably have me down as a female Jimmy Saville

How much is a pack these days? I used to work for the company that made the sticky paper they used. A pack is about 5p worth. Double that for printing, so value of 10 to max 12p.

Hahaha what a tit i am!!! well i obviously remembered wrong! I thought it was Willie Miller for St Mirren in a white kit but the Scottish players where always on a double sticker with another player???

I've still got a few of mine, Mexico 86 and a few league ones, im sure ive got Spain 82 as well but i was a bit too young to remember that tournament

Wasn’t the Mexico 86 one plastic cards rather than stickers ? I deffo remember having plastic ones you inserted into slots rather than stickers on one of my collections.

Maybe, when i get home tonight ill dig it out, you might be right.

Saying that i think it wasnt just Pannini that made them ,there was a few who tried to step into the market.

The other one i had was the league table you could make yourself moving teams up and down a chart you slipped the badges into

Yeah I remember getting them with Shoot or Match magazine. I also used to love Play by Mail.

No it was a normal sticker album, I've got it somewhere - the first World Cup I watched, was amazing.
