If we sell Baines/Fellaini, what replacements!

I've been watching Luke shaw (saints) for a few weeks now, I think he is a really good option if we are to sell baines in the summer, we would probably get him for about £10mill and would get £15+ for baines.
Fellaini is going to be most of are summer transfer pot with £30+, we could get two quality players in I would love to get benteke think £20+mill but there are a few after him, if its true about errikison from Ajax being out of contract I'd have a go at getting him.
Everyone has there own opinions so I'm just putting this out to see what people think.

I think he looks a good player but getting him and banking £5m would just seem like a deal we'd done badly out of , if that makes sense ?
 

If we sold them both and got £40m alomg with the extra £25m TV deal I still dont see us spending more than £20m.
 
Oviedo was bought as Baines' replacement last summer and rightly so, if we got say £20m for Baines and then went in for Oviedo, a 2.5m player becomes a 5m player.

As for Fellaini, I'd like to see us going in for Siem de Jong (Ajax), Adam Maher (AZ), Filip Djuricic (Herenveen), Georgio Wijnaldum (PSV), Toivenen, whos very like Fellaini, Erikson (Ajax), Honda, Ananidze (Spartak), Beňat (Betis), Belhanda, Kelvin (Porto) or Koke (Athletico). But it'll probably be Barkley.
 
Shaw is doing brilliantly and is **** hot, and thats why i think we could end up keeping Baines and the top teams will turn there attention to Shaw as he's younger and an exceptional talent!.

Im 50/50 with Felli. IF Moyes stays i think he'll want to keep him but i do think if were going to have the best chance of having ago at qualifying for CL next season, we need to sell for as much as poss and use the money on the squad in certain areas!.

For me aswell, we need to get rid of the likes of Heitinga & Anichebe, maybe Gueye aswell?!. Heitinga as only a year left of his current deal after this season and as been very poor and mainly on the bench for us and he's an expensive back up player with the wages he's on!.

And Anichebe is just too hit and miss for me, one game he's up for it and chases around and being strong like he always should, the next he's going to ground easy and throwing his arms up in the air and looking uninterested, and thats more often than his good games unfortunately!.

So with the money from all them sales, we could go out and get a good CB (Lescott could be available for as little as £4m this summer apparently?!), possibly look to eventually sign Fer for CM as we need legs in there, a runner that doesnt stop for the whole 90 but as class about him, an attacking midfielder to play off of Jelavic, maybe Honda on the cheap with his deal running out this xmas?!. Or atleast someone who is more mobile and technically very good and can make things happen in the final third!. And a proper striker to challenge Jelavic we need, someone who can be called upon if things arent going Jelavic's way or even beat him into team, but we need someone, could we afford all the rest (possibly Lescott, Fer & Honda?) and look to sign Negredo? Im not so sure?!!.

Btw, im not just plucking up names from here, there and everywhere, im going by who we was linked with in Jan and recently.

I think what'll happen mate is part of the new TV money will go to servicing debts with the banks and what ever we fetch in from player sales will go into our kitty for rebuilding.

We must of been saving some of the TV money for next season to use in our transfer kitty or else people on the board wouldnt of stumped up the cash for Fer in Jan on the strength of that?!.

Some good shouts there pal but i think some of them will be out of our reach. Siem de Jong is a good shout for a replacement for Felli, as is Maher, Wijnaldum, Erikson, Honda & Belhanda but the likes of Wijnaldum, Erikson & possibly Belhanda will have bigger, CL qualified clubs after them!.

Benat is more of a CM player in the Arteta mold and would be a good signing but like the ones ive mentioned above, bigger teams will be in for him.

A couple of players in France who are a bit un heard of but talents could be good shouts for us, Romain Alessandrini of Rennais & Remy Cabella of Montpellier, both attack minded midfielders and doing very well in the league with Cabella being close to a call up for France this season!.
 
I thought Garbutt looked promising against Orient in the cup. The sale of Fellaini will no doubt bring in a few players. I'd like to see a winger who can play either side as cover for Mirallas and Pienaar and another Striker.

Really though the squad aint as bad as some think. It's just age now.

Good players, but I reckon not only will most be too expensive but their wages will be more than what we would like to pay too.
Read rumours of £10 million plus for Shaw for example and Benteke will be approx £20m - too much for both in my opinion.
Players like Izaguirre at Celtic (if Baines goes) and McCarthy at Wigan are a decent shout though. I liked the look of that McManaman at Wigan too. Then, depending what cash we actually do have we could look at strikers abroad like Vossen, Szalai, Soriano, Mbokani who shouldn't be too expensive (less than £10m I'm sure!) and maybe look at Hoilett if QPR get relegated and Ince if Blackpool don't get promoted.
