If we got 30M for Fellaini should we get ourselves straight?

Player Valuation: £8m
Fair assumption is that we can get around 30M this summer for Fellaini - recently with sales we have used a bit for replacements (usually cheaper players) and the rest to stave off the latest interest payment on one of our debt streams.
To me this is neither one thing nor the other and is continuing the poverty cycle.
My understanding is we have debts around 40-50M and it is the interest payments that are killing us without actually repaying the capital. How about using all 30M to pay off the short and medium term debt, overdraft etc and then start to operate within our means without the debt and interest crippling our operating revenue.

As we more or less break even as it is we should have the extra 20M tv money from this summer every year as an immediate and sustainable yearly transfer fund, plus the increased profit from lowered interest payments.

This may be our last chance to do this as we don't have many 30M sales on the books and this tv deal money will end up with the banks as interest if we dont clear our debts.

Either that or spunk all 30M in one go and sod the financial onsequences a la pompey (Carroll is available) but please not the middle ground that is getting us nowhere.

I don't think we will get £30m mate.

Not now anyway. But whatever we do get HAS to go on new players. It just has to.

Sell to Chelsea for 20 and take one of their promising youth players in part exchange

I understand the thought here but what's the point? the board had had the debt rising consistently. they have no business plan. the debt would just creep up to existing levels.

We'd get 15m.

Then we'd all be furious that the ****e paid 20m a pop for Downing and Henderson.

We're a small club, and he doesn't have the English premium price like Lescott and Rooney had.

No, we should buy three billion penny jellies and give them out matchdays to kids so we get the next generation of fans to support us.

Yeah, i'm sure we'd get half the price Zenit played for Witsel, who is worse than Fellaini.

£45M AND LUKAKAKU THEIR PHYSIO ONE OF THE STANDS BEHIND THE GOAL AND A LONG WEEKEND IN ONE OF THE SUITES OF THE HOTEL

or we could spend the £25 odd million on three top players like mignolet, fer and benteke with a bit left over to try and challenge for champions league over the coming years which will help wipe our debt in a better way
