If we don't get into the top 4 what are your predictions for Everton football club

can't believe you missed out the fulham game nik. we absolutelu butchered them and how we didn't win that i'll never know. Can accept the swansea draw though, we were easily the better team as we have been virtually every game this season, but not always the best team wins, plus i'm sure arsenal and spurs have drawn games they should have won as well. Games like newcastle and to a lesser extent norwich where we've been stripped of 2 points because of really bad officiating are a different kettle of fish, but suppose we just got to accept it. I agree we have the 6th best squad/team in the league and i don't think/expect us to be finishing lower than that. 5th would be a very good achievement for me, but just hope we'll give a real good go at 4th because that would be a massive achievement

no offence, but this means jack ****. rugby is 80 mins, a league football match has always been a 90 minute game. Didn't AVB say he wasn't going to bring in another striker? surprised me, especially with adebayor going, it's definitely an area you need strengthening. Think you also need a good right winger who can score to realistically challenge for higher than 4th. Lennon's not a top drawer winger and if he/bale got injured your only backup is andros townsend

I do agree with you in principle fella. What i was trying to say was that Spurs do not need to make a huge improvement to start picking up extra points. Just stop making stupid errors or being too defensive in the last 10 mins - which, credit to AVB, we do seen to have done over the last few games.

We absolutely need a new, top quality striker (most teams do!) to move up a level but Levy refuses to be held to ransom over wages etc so it never seems to happen. Tend to disagree about Lennon on not being top drawer but, i will concede he does not score enough. Been one of our better players so far this season.

You've got a good side mate and I honestly think it will be tough to oust you from 4th, Arsenal have got more of a chance but right now I think you're better than them, so no great need for major injection of playing staff to your squad. However, if we can do some business i.e. Donovan, Lescott and get our players back i.e. Mirallas and Gibson and keep them fit for long enough, then I honestly believe it will be a very close run thing indeed.

Pretty frank and honest assessment there, well in. Although that reference to an "80-minute match league table" comes across a bit Kopitish!!

But I tend to agree with your view on Spurs' chances, and reckon they're in pole position for 4th.

God forbid! After Woolwich & Chelsea, LFC are the club i hate more than anyone else!

As i said, i was just trying to suggest (badly it appears ) that we were not too far away from 'cementing' 4th. That said we had 3rd wrapped up last season & managed to lose to QP ha ha & then only effing draw away at Villa (2nd from last game). Better results there & we were in. Gutted.

If it was a choice between EFC & AFC getting 4th place, i woud be praying for you fellas in my best scouse accent.
