If six was nine.

If six was nine, if Everton were Man City.

If six was nine? A jimmi Hendrix song from Axis bold as love album. He was singing about what if? In anything that was completely flipped, either affected him directly or had no bearing on his life, he didn't mind.
What if Bill Kenwright had sold Everton, lock stock and barrel to the Saudies.
Who in that fantasy, would you have had as manager, who would you have bought, where would you have built the new stadium? You can have any player in our fantasy football league game. No one is unavailable. What if we were the owners of the luxury bus, and not the passenger waiting at the stop, checking his change to see if he's even got enough money to get on.
Everton, Saudie owned, money no object, who is your fantasy team and manager?

I'd probably jib it off to be honest.

By jib it off I mean not bother looking for a dodgy stream.

That will teach em.

Despite being happy to win something, over time I'd have a hollow feeling that our success had been nothing to do with building a sporting dynasty through sport, but through financial means. I'd feel as if my team had bought success and made a mockery of over a century worth of football records, recording the subtle ebb and flow of different teams' successes using a financial sledge hammer. I'd be disappointed at my club and feel a bit of a fraud.

If winning at any costs to moral considerations then sure those people would of had a great 15 years or so. To me Man City no longer exists as Man City but as a marketing brand to use to make Abu Dhabi more palatable to the masses so they don't look too hard at what these people are doing to migrant workers amongst other human rights abuses they commit.

Exactly how I see it too Chris, Im actually glad (now) that we have really suffered and I don't say that lightly, it's been hellish supporting Everton for the last decade. What I want to see now is a steady incline, I don't want to cheat it, I'm genuinely excited to see us build a dynasty from the ground up... and having Moyes in charge of this period just seems right to me. I would feel empty if we just bought a title, You'd not get that elation if it was just money that got you there... Well not for me personally.
