Right, let's open a large can of worms. With the advent of Manny coming back to us, I have read mixed reports on how he will be welcomed back. I for one feel there is more to his not signing(especially after seeing Moyes recent comments) and will applaud his every flick and trick. I cannot wait for Moyes to make his mark on him and to get 90 mins out of him. He hass the ability to be world class so should b appreciated in the team.

My real question is this......What about Rooney being back? I have always felt that he will return at some time. He IS world class and I would love to see him back. I do feel bitter towards him because of the timing of his departure but think that he had to leave because we did not have the team to allow him to progress properly. (If only he was here now)

Be honest about wanting to see his ability in the team. I know he made wrong decisions but when I see him playing for anyone else I feel it is like seeing your girlfriend with another bloke.

EFC is his spiritual home and one day I would like to see him back.

I wouldnt the horrible fat [Poor language removed].

He does not deserve to wear the Everton blue ever again. It is one of the most sacred club jerseys in the world, you would award it back to Rooney - because his "heart" is in it? No, his "heart" is in his £75,000 a week + bonuses contract at United.
Dont be so naiive.

if my bird slept around i wouldn't think of taking that c.unt back, and it wasn't like a clean breakup she (wayne rooney) straight up cheated on me (everton). hurts to see her with other men but she's a slu.t and i wouldn't want her back anyways. analogies are confusing, but my answer is no i'd never want him back in a million years.

this is sort of the bitter truth, but i don't support everton because we're currently the best team in football. if i wanted to support the team most likely to win titles and buy flashy players, i'd support manchester united inc. or chelski or one of those, but to me the character of a team is much more important. i wouldn't respect the club as much for bringing him back, and i'd much rather be where we are now than winning titles with judas's help. if we sign him back, we're selling out just as badly as he sold out originally.

I can't ever see him playing for us ever again but as I'm killing time and need to take my mind off something I'll give my fourpenneth worth.

If he came back I wold have to support him as he is playing for my team.
BUT
I don't like seeing him playing now and childish as it sounds, it IS like seeing yer childhood sweetheart with another woman, another woman who is richer, better looking, got a better job, nicer friends and is more successful than me.

So it's not just the fact that he left because he was in love with (the other woman) but simply because she offered a more exciting lifestyle and better prospects - sod the fact that he had pledged his heart and soul to me from when we played in the school yard together.......... anyway, you get my drift.
For that reason, he is a prize nob and I can't be doing with his bollock ugly face and gormless, IQ in single figures, stupid comments.
I would happily give him a good slap and a kick in the nuts for good measure but I'm not bitter, really.

Oh and as well as all that he snogs her (badge kissing) every time our paths cross. That's just not classy! But like I said, I'm not bitter.

no [Poor language removed] way!

I'll let you into a secret, he aint as good as we thought!
he certainly aint as good as HE thought.
the poser from portugal makes him look ordinary!

How am I being naiive. I asked a question on whether he would be welcomed back! I would welcome whilst I wouldn't forgive him for the style of his departure. RBJ I think you read somewhere in my original post that I mentioned where his heart is, I don't know where you got this from. The other option is that you were arguing with yourself in whch case go and see someone aout that.

I would bet that the whole blame doesn't lie with Rooney for his leaving. The club are good at spin sometimes to make themselves look good. Maybe it isn't me that is eing naiive.

No, i'd be insulted if we were to ever re-sign him after everything hes said about fellow Evertonians and about OUR club.

I'd be quite happy if someone ended his career tommorrow, call me bitter but he'll never realise what he meant to Evertonians of my age at the time.

i have to agree with one of the earlier posts.. he isnt as good as we thought he would be. amazing talent and POTENTIAL but as yet not realised.
as to the acrimonious split i feel it was in the best interests of all parties... let me explain, rooneys fee £25 mil ish was huge and VERY needed for our club, moyes couldn't get the best out of him fact. Alex Ferguson has a proven track record of bringing prodigies to fruition.
would i have him back at Everton? In a heartbeat, he hurt me when he left but i am quite convinced that between his agent whispering in his ear AND the fact he probably realized how much that transfer fee would mean to the club (probably told so by someone at the club, but i have no evidence) i believe he truly thought it was in everyones (YES HIS TOO BEFORE YOU ALL START SCREAMING ABOUT MONEY GRABBIN) interests to go to Man Utd.
I also have to ask ,,, would there have been such a backlash against him if he'd gone abroad?? Hypocrisy?
I do know FACT he did love everton, you cant be a fan and not love the club. dont forget this is the lad that got invited to trial for liverpool and turned up and refused to take off his everton top!!
whether he still loves the club after some of the truly shocking and disgusting abuse he got of some of the fans ............................. thats the real question.

Fukk the fat little bastardd, shrek look-a-like smelly tramp. If you ever shiit on this club you can go an die..........speed,barmby,rooney,colina( the reff).......an yes fernandes. In my eyes you can all go a fukk off, hope you an your close relatives die a very slow painfull death......:D :D

Im not a bitter pearson, You just can't [Poor language removed] on my club....:D

So no to rooney!!!

Not a chance.

Shitting on the club at the first opportunity who prevented you being on the dole is one thing.

Kissing a rivals badge in front of your home stand and going beserk on other occasions is the final nail in the coffin as far asm am concerned. I was there sat in the Gwladys when Nistelrooy scored and he ran over and went beserk on his own. Hes scum.

I agree there Danny. Thing is, I don't think its a reaction to the club, I just think its a [Poor language removed] you to the fans, because we have put all the blame on him, and not looked at the club in anyway.

I've heard reports that he is always asking how Everton are doing, there is no way he can hate the club just cos he plays for Man U. The lad is a pawn in a mulit-million pound business.

If he was breaking through now, with the club in the situation they are in, I don't think he would leave, or be allowed to leave.

You can't [Poor language removed] on this club? What about Kendall? What about Ferguson? What about Michael Ball? ;)

Was never a fan of ferguson, ball was always [Poor language removed]. Now kendall............ye your right but it was more down to our criminal neighbours than anything els......;)
