The only reason Lukaku could nt leave in last window was that no player can be signed on a perm deal and be loaned to another club in the same league. But now this is a diff window -so he is free to move to another prem league club.

He has played for two clubs this season, he cannot play for any more.

I'd take a punt on Rhodes. The lad has no EPL experience, that's true. However, he seems to have something that none of our current strikers have.....an instinctive idea of where the goal is and a selfishness that makes him just want to round the last defender and shoot, rather than looking for a pass backwards.

Considering what we have spent on wages for the likes of Saha and Bily and what we paid for the Yak (compared to what we sold him for) is it really that much of a gamble?
