Who would you sign?

For me it'll be -

Scott Dann from Birmingham, a very capable defender that can fill in for Jagielka. - £5M
Steven Defour - Replacement for Arteta, creative and quick. - £7m
Joey Barton - The hardman in the midfield aswell as being another option on the right. - Free, but high wages
Patrick van Aanholt - Left defender from Chelsea - Loan
Landon Donovan - You know the lid. - £6m
Daniel Sturridge - Hard working, good fast striker. - Loan or Buy.

Defour is at Porto, Barton is at QPR. Landon won't join us.

Why do most think Birmingham will sell Dann for a paltry 5m? They would ask for double if prem teams came sniffing.

Nor would we get Donovan for 6m.

£3m on a decent cover CB.

£25m on a striker.

If were being hypothetical, we might aswell still address the issues, which is a lack of anyone who can do anything up front.

If this were to happen,i'd go for Scott Dann 8m Joey Barton free and jelovic from rangers for 5m the rest will go to the bank!
But then i'd wake up and smell the coffee and read the papers saying we have still no MONEY!
