As the manager always says, January is a terrible time to buy players. We should keep the cash until next summer and spend it then, because it'll be safe and waiting for Moyes to spend it next summer.

Ahh sorry I wasn't going off a particular article, I was quoting Radio City this morning, might have been mis-worded by them.

I would say we've been "close" to tying down Fellaini for just on a year now.

Fair enough. I'm not saying I'm 100% confident he's going to sign. Our history with tying down players desired by richer clubs is not great.

Will he sign? No idea, but Moyes saying he's "close" to signing doesn't mean much anymore after him repeating much the same thing about Peanuts.

Can't fault him for it really though, cause he's not gonna come out and say no, weakens our position still further and p!sses the fans off. Still has an impact on credibility when talking about other players, sadly.
