Tell us straight if we need to sell or not. What plans do they have in terms of squad age etc. Just came out and were honest with us so that all these rumours stopped. Id have so much time for them as a club

But instead no one really knows the truth, where the money goes, and why smaller clubs can afford big money signings over us.

Fans would be so much more happier and trustworthy in the club. I could accept it more if we were just told the truth.

When kenwright signed Martinez he said it was because he promised him the champions league. You can't sign a manager based on words, you need facts or proven success to back that up. How could Martinez promise us CL if he didn't know what financial budgets were in place? Did BK or the Club inform him?

The club have explained where the money goes. Mainly on players wages. Generally speaking, the teams below us that have more money to spend on transfer fees don't have wages as high as ours.

It may be frustrating but there is no conspiracy.

The accounts are there for you to see if you're that interested but you can't expect the club to announce budget info to all and sundry. I'm pretty sure Martinez knows what he's got himself into

Obviously that's never gonna happen as the entire transfer market would implode on that basis.
But yes, it's frustrating. This is not football. Transfer rumours are not like reading an actual spots publication, they're like reading the financial times. And both our chairman and new managers are experts at spewing financial jarg.

That's actually something i'll miss from Moyes, the straightforwardness.
There's too much artifical sweetener in the way Martinez talks. And Kenwright just adds to that awful taste, doesn't he?

Bill have lived off David Moyes heroics for far too long. Before David took us over we battled relegation. Now look at us.. great

But will it last if teams above us, and around us keep outspending us? No it won't

David knew that.. and im not surprised he went. BK didn't back him when he proved year on year he should have been

We missed the boat when we finished in the top four. That was the time to invest and we didn't. And now in my opinion nothing but serious investment will ever put us higher than the top six. And not only that, we have a serious job on to finish even close to 6th next season

Im not sure Roberto is even arsed to be fair. Hes just told Wigan he didn't have it in them to bring them back up?

Also hes just been rescued from the Championship back to the Prem. Any manager would leave the Championship to manager in the Premiership, no budget or not!

Look at our net spend last ten years. Have we ever spent more than we have sold?!
