We have a massive week next week with two very important games within three days. The Derby on the Wednesday to be fair is all about bragging rights and nothing really hinges on this game. It's not as if a win will take us into a European slot is it?
The semi final bares the most importance for me, but some of you may disagree.
The worrying concern for me is, should we lose both, have we the character in our team to finish the season in only what can be a respectable position.
I hate our club in theses situations and can only hope as we always do, next season will be a much brighter one.

The league position is over on done with mate, we ain't getting relegated, so it's all or nothing with the cup, end of.

I was expecting 'go to Wales' to be honest here.

I thought we'd get

...we are not a bad side, indeed we are capable of beating teams on any day. Despite the takeover there is a real bad feeling about the place, the club is clearly not a happy ship at the moment. They are a couple of games that could not only define the remainder of the season, they could inform a managerial change.

...perhaps it's a bit like the season after we won the league in 1970, except we were a top side then. We were knocked out of the European Cup by Panathinikos in midweek and lost an FA Cup semi-final to the Pool on the Saturday. It was a key week for that team too.

That was the first thing that sprung to mind when I posted it.

We have a massive week this week and all, Alan

Two games in three days before we can even think of the two games next week.

Two vital games in which we need to show some mettle, find some form again and pick up at least four points.

If we can take four points between now and Saturday night I will start believing we can take sommat at the Pit and win at Wembley.

We should be bouncing into this Semi Final, instead we are limping along, the Chelsea game showed what they are capable of,likewise we know what the other side of the coin entails with our team,as that Dusty Springfield song from the sixties went,"Wishing and hoping":(
