I lent a lad I live with a small sum of money last Tuesday. It was simply a matter of 'I'm going to the supermarket, do you want anything?', he did want a couple of items and I picked them up for him. I came home, gave him the stuff and told him how much it had come to.

On Thursday I reminded him and then again this evening I told him I need the money for tomorrow morning - which is true.

When I arrived home and asked for it, he told me he didn't have it. I suggested he go to the ATM, which is forty metres away and he refused, telling me that it is my problem, I will get it when he has been out - but he isn't going out anytime soon, and that I should deal with it.

He has no financial issues. He was on the ale tonight and regularly spends tens of pounds on Lego.

I want to rip his throat out.
