When I left work at 21.30 the car was already icing up & it'd only been parked for 5 hours - had to de-ice the windscreen before driving home. I told wifey it's her turn tomorrow morning - she laughed!

a few weeks ago, just after new year and before that even last year it was quite nasty in some places.

Was coming home through Greenwich Park and slipped over on a sheet of Ice and landed half on my ass and half on my side, I wasn't hurt, just embarrassed, and I did have a bruise the next day.

I had drunk some strong liquor that night, but was in no way drunk, I was quite aware of what I was doing, I just got caught out by this Ice, I had managed to get a fair way safe enough before then until I went by the wayside.

Going somewhere else nearby that would of taken 30 minutes normally took nearly double that because there was Ice everywhere, and I had to walk like a crab with sciatica in order to stay upright until it was safe to go as normal.

Still at an age where I can afford to take a tumble.
