John Lennon

Player Valuation: £1m
Can't believe this.

Obviously Ibrahimovic is a very good player. But I have never seen him perform well against a good side.

So why on earth have Barcelona swapped Samuel Eto'o PLUS 35 MILLION POUNDS and Hleb on a season long loan to Inter.

Jose Mourinho must think it's Christmas.

Unbelievable, Footballs gone CRAZY!!!!

Mad.

From what I've seen, Eto is better.

Maybe Barca can get the best out of Ibra?

But plus 35 mil (n)

Ibrahimovic is not a bad player but not a great one in my eyes. Everytime i have watched him, particularly against Europe's Elite, he fails to impress me. Like JL has stated, football has gone mad!

When i first read it, i thought Inter had paid 35 million.

Eto'o is one of the most proven and clinical strikers i have seen.

Surely they will have David Villa lined up.

I'll end up eating my words next year when Ibrahimovic wins World Player of the Year ha

moyes really wants to sign whoever worked on this deal for inter milan

it was keith wyness:lol:
i heard earlier that it was a straight swap, they neglected to mention the 35 mill and the loan.

do barca not fancy showing some interest in joleon, would put the wind up the arabs if nowt else.

* quickly tries to start rumour to up citehs bid.

I reckon laporta has been on the ale.

Moyesey give him a ring and see if they fancy a swap 10 million plus Dani Alves for Hibbert

Pep's never liked Eto but it does sound heafty.

Either way, you could stick Bobby Zamora upfront for Barca and he'd get 30 goals a season with the likes of Messi, Henry, Iniesta, Xavi teeing him up every game.

BBC do say they're still eyeing up David Villa.

Ibra is motivated, Eto´o not. Ibra´s been the most influental player in serie A, a bigger name there then Kaká. He is a different type of striker, meet the ball more and goes a little wide, like Henry did in Arsenal. I think, if they get the best out of him, he can be the signing of the year, better then Ronaldo or Tevez or who we want to mention.

on the radio it said that eto'o is an absolute 'mare to coach and was the enfant terrible of the dressing room, if he gets off on the wrong foot with jose (expecting fireworks here and gonna love seeing the result) then we could offer vic in a swap.

lad i met in spain, lives in brum but a tranmere fan as is from birkenhead, had an eto'o keyring and when buying a new car the dealer looked down the list of reg's he could issue an gave him ETO on the reg, the spaniards love it and he gets a couple of games in every season........hope he's not booked all his flights for next year.

My father in law, who's Italian, reads Gazzetta della sport and follows the Italian footie. According to him Ibra fell out with everyone at Inter except Maxwell (reunited again). Now it seems Guardiola's main (or only) problem with Eto'o was him splitting the dressing room. Go figure.
