Anybody watching it? I saw it on Monday. I can't believe the fat bird with the unwashed hair didn't open the letter that was to be given to Winny Johnston on his death. What loyalty does she have for that psychopath? She should have opened it. Its probably more Brady mind games, but so what, if there is any glimmer it would have been worth a bash to have any chance of finding where the little lad is buried. Its too late for Winny now, she died three days ago, and Brady will take this to his grave. Over 40 years later and this case is still haunting for the sheer evil that those two did.

i dont think it was out of loyalty, she had a legal position as his mental health summat or other, ie she has a legal duty to do as he wished. Not seen the programme but my understanding was that she was put in a bit of a tw4t of a position. He's a proper head worker that cwnt.

I'd have opened it. Anybody else, no - but a child killer? Dang sure I'd open it if I thought there was even a glimmer of a chance of helping Winny. To heck with legal duty. Mind you, its unlikely there is anything in that letter except taunts -- BRADY is a pure sociopath, he's loving this.

Bad place to be in,legally i would assume she had a duty to him no matter what he did the law as they ay is the law.

I got the impression though there's nothing in that letter and the shows makers only told the police for publicity for the programme.

They should just let the Moors murders lie now, stop making programmes like this. Winnie Johnson is never going to find her son, Hindley is dead, all programmes like this do is give more publicity to that [Poor language removed] Brady and keep the wounds open.

She is his mental health advocate, ( mu understanding as I work in the same field ), she has a strict confidentiality role with her client, in this case Brady, but is obligated under a duty of care to inform the authorities of anything which may be deemed as important to any legal case. This may not be the exact rule but it is the rule as far as I understand it. In my job I am bound by confidentiality but only to a point, If I consider somebody may be of harm to themselves or others I am legally obliged to breach that confidentiality....... In the case of Brady.... I would have broken confidentiality for the purpose of the legal proceeding which took place all them years ago.

Thanks for clearing it up,rock and a hard place come to mind if it where me i would seek legal advise before anything else,my bum would have to be covered legally and if i was in the clear then i would go to the police even though from afar im sure there's absolutely nothing in there that isn't already in the public domain, and having watched the programme there's no way i would be bullied by a tv show, indeed i did wonder why on earth she was even on it i would want legal clarity first becuase he,Brady isnt worth getting into trouble with the police over which of course is what happened to her.

Just watched it on E4, feel horrible now. Upsetting viewing.

Can't be doing with stuff like this.

It makes me feel awful and there's no room for intelligent debate whatsoever.

Very difficult one, I won't debate the obvious subject. The programme does glamourise Ian Brady, offered nothing in terms of news or developments.

All I learnt is he wants to die, and the hospital are keeping him "alive".
