At the risk of sounding a bit like Chico and countries ...

I used to work in a lab and we created a new kind of purple paint, not on purpose like, an experimental process went badly wrong and we walked into the plant one morning to find instead of white walls it had purple walls. Our revolutionary iodine coating had revolved a bit too much and made a bid for freedom, along with some fairly nasty stuff that we were coating.

The shift lads who were on plant at the time it went bang weren't too impressed with us, neither were the HSE for that matter.

I do more office work these days. My lab experiments are behind me, but maybe I'd create a self-refilling pint glass. Might call it Tommye, might not.
