Do children get raped in the film??

If the answer is yes then a part of the film is about child rape or is there a "Deeper" meaning to it all

I am not calling you out I just find it strange that someone would watch a movie knowing that they will see that sort of crap

I can detach myself from it being a film and reality. Its not real. Its still incredibly difficult to watch, but its still fictional.

A lot of people turn their noses up at people who are intrigued by and watch these films, and dismiss it as purely getting off on 'torture porn'. Its not at all. Critiques watched it, film festival goers watched it. I, like them, was intrigued by such a film. I didn't 'enjoy' the torture scenes, but such scenes are nessessary to tell such a grisly story. Again like I mentioned, if you've got a story line like that its not gonna be all fairy's and pixie dust.

Again, it was incredibly OTT, but I thought it was a well made film with a good storyline and message. Some people think it was a **** story and poor acting, some people just think its purely made for sicko's to masterbate to (which of course its not like, but whatever). Mine's just an opinion. Won't apologise for it and people who dismiss things like it without seeing it are being a bit silly. If it sounds like something you don't wanna watch, don't watch it. No one will force you to. But just because someone is intrigued and interested by such a (fictional) film and all the hype surrounding it, doesn't make them just 'torture porn' fiends. I happen to like dark storylines like that anyway. I say 'like', its just something that grabs my attention. I almost dread watching but I look on it as an experience.

Again, it has a point, and a story to tell. If you don't wanna watch it, don't watch it! Wouldn't advise it anyway. But you can't have an opinion onit just from reading a synopsis. And you definatly can't have an opinion on the motives of the people who do watch it. For example I was with my mates and we heard about it and just decided to download it and give it a try. That's how most people have seen it tbh.
