1st post. ive followed this club for 35 years, some of the best times of my life. There hasn't been enough of these highs though but we're on the up. I'm so proud to be a Blue, it chokes me sometimes, dignity & class in abundance in the face of the RS. Without doubt, we have the best fans in the country and we deserve success. But the tide is changing, were on the way up, we got the dough, we will soon have a stadium, we got the Manager, we got some excIting players coming thru, and we got the freak of nature that is our fans, when the team has our full 100% backing, (it's been a while been able to say that) there's no better place for atmosphere in the Country. Really really excited at this coming season. Add all these together & the future is bright, very bright. Top 4 this year. Next year, attract the next tier of player, then the World is ours! Can't wait. C'mon you Blues.
 

Genuinely the most excited I've been going into a new season for as long as I can remember. I think it's the 'unknown' factor creating a real buzz around the place at the moment.. Bring on the new season!!

Love your enthusiasm and obviously hope it all comes to fruition,we are certainly moving in the right direction and have made a big statement appointing Ron but there's a long way to go and I'm trying to keep a lid on it for the moment.

A good start to our season,getting our star players on improved long term contracts and 2 or 3 big signings and I may start to believe.
 

We really MUST get the Stadium on the dock over the line. The RS are already losing control of their bowels but with a new Stadium, and Champions League footy being played in it, they'll all self combust.
 
I still hate Everton!! A few weeks doesn't erase 2 years of ruining my weekends and it's the same group of players that have caused the misery.

That said I'm cautiously optimistic about the new season, the "what if" factor and the buzz is a little contagious.

After last season I was deifinately questioning is it worth it anymore why do I bother.
I just really lost the enjoyment of a match day I wasn't alone you only had to listen to the voices in the stand next to me or read the pained faces at full time to know I wasn't alone.
then something happened this month for the first time in nearly 2 decades and probably the first time since we signed kanchelskis we did what we set out to do we followed through without taking no for a answer and made a statement of intent.
Time will tell if this proves to be the rebirth of the most fantastic of clubs or another false dawn as the kanchelskis signing turned out to be.
One things for sure those winter blues and springtime questions have been put to bed by mr moshiri and his ambitionsfor this club going forward and once again I'm hooked and eagerly awaiting my next match day fix.

Everton that ain't it !
