I "Heart" Guns

ehhh, there's good and bad points to having and not having them.
I think that even though in that story it's good for her, generally speaking the less guns there are around the place, the better.
But no guns means they all just carry knives anyway so I don't know, really.

As a 12 year old hyper nutcase, i'd much rather face down a fellow lunatic with a knife than if he or she had a gun. At least with knives the 'collateral damage' is limited.

Join a medieval re-enactment society and get one of these.

Definitely, but I just meant I don't know if it really solves anything because the average person doesn't walk around with a knife but if everyone was allowed to have guns then idk.
Don't even know. This is one of those "I can't even decide" things because I just don't know enough about it. Needs more statistics, but they're probably all warped.

I have to say I feel a whole lot safer living in London knowing that the chances of the folks here having guns is relatively small. Bad enough them having knives, as witnessed by the Oxford Street stabbing, but I accept that it's pretty hard to regulate against that.

People seem to get so angry nowadays, giving them one less channel to tragically vent that anger is no bad thing.

A large part of that is due to the sheer inequality that's been allowed to manifest itself in the inner city areas, with no-one on either side of the political divide being willing to act on it thus far. Of course acting in such a way is wrong, but it's not suprising that people do react like that.

I never could figure out what the attraction was to sinkhole estates.

Interesting, I was at the Nogales border patrol shooting range making some changes to their lighting system today.

After I was done we I got to shoot a box of .40 Hollow point Smith & Wesson's. Not a bad way to spend the day!

I'm not sure if Bill is being serious with his opening post.
While I do understand the underlying reasons for the actions that led to such conclusion, her being with her baby and all, surely the woman could've just stated that she's armed and nobody would've gotten themself shot? She might've been saved from a violent confrontation because of being armed, but then again she would've been ok if there would've been a unit dispatched to her in a swift manner and also even then she might've handled it in another manner if such a deadly option would've not been available to her. I'm also pretty sure that while they occasionally might save someone, they do end in more violent confrontations leading to deaths. I think guns are like knives in the UK, people use them because they carry them and that itself causes the need for an arms race that feeds itself.

I'm all for hunting weaponry but very much against guns that serve the sole purpose of killing a man.
That said, people, including myself do freak out too much about guns, having them around is pretty much an ideological issue. If I remember right having a trampoline at home results in multiple times the deadly trauma for kids than having a gun does.

I will never understand the fascination with guns...

I thought Goldie Lookin Chain said it best though...

I heart guns too

My lad has a nerf gun and waits for me everyday like that chinese bloke in the pink panther!
