This isn't like the 'we can do it' i felt before the Anfield derby, this is just total confidence in the team at the moment. That and Liverpool are s***e.

If we play OUR game and don't worry about them then we'll batter them, no doubt.

yea different feel to the whole team at the moment, them playing so badly is such a bonus but the team spirit we have is fantastic and dont have any doubt for a win next saturday, cant wait, coybb
 
I am so nervous. It's different from usual derby nerves though. Usually, Liverpool are favourites because their team is better and I fear them. Now, they're just sh*te and I don't. We are so confident/fit/in form/boss and they just aren't. But it's just such an enormous opportunity it's untrue and not to take it would be gutting. I'm more scared of missing an opportunity to make them cry/get to the final than fearing the humiliation of losing for once. I feel that will change on saturday though.

However, you look at everything. Everton are the inform team - and we have just won 4-0. Liverpool are in the worst form in 50 years or something, and don't have their main keeper.

You just know they are going to turn up, they always do...But with Heitinga at the back im confident we can keep a clean sheet.

i agree, although they are playing badly they were before they beat us so i think they will be a totally different team, i just think we will be too good for them, i have a feeling thouhg it will be a sh!te goal scored that wins it for either team

Its difficult, because id want Everton to score early - to shut the Liverpool fans up and therefore Liverpool won't play aswell imo. However, if we do that - you just know Everton are going to sit back and invite pressure on themselves.

Preferably, our first goal will be a penalty where Liverpool get a player sent off.
 
As long as we play the game and not the occasion we should beat them. If we start getting into mind games and shoize it brings us down to their near mid table level. Concentrate on us and play the like they are s'land ffs.

as much as i think we have a chance i always get that feeling when it comes to the ****e they always seem to come out of bad form against us we just need to out do them in every way , especially support COYB tim cahill header for the winner ! jelavic slotting one and a tony hibbert maradonna esc style goal (hand ball)
 
I've been stating for a while that I think our name's on the cup. That obviously means we'll do them in the semi. I've got the same feeling. However, I'm one of the auld arses on here and I've seen inferior rs teams do us before. We seriously owe them and payback ought to be a bitch for them. But the knot in my stomach is building up. I'll probably be reduced to a slobbering, high pitched squeal of a mess by Saturday. This is truely the moment for Moyes to take the bull by the horns and send the lads out with a rocket up their arses. COYB.
 
so much of this is on Moyes like never before, be confident ffs, we have Johnny at the back, the best CM in the league, and a confident goalscorer, whatever you do davey, do not implore the lads to be cautious, to surrender the iniative, we can do these, we really can, but you yourself have to be bold
 
I want to be confident I really do but I have seen it so many times,We are playing well they are having a dip in form we SHOULD win but they always seem to up there game and get the result they need

I keep saying it but they are a big game team and always seem to-do enough to get across the line,They did it against Utd in the F.A Cup and beat City over 2 legs to get to the final of the CC

I am not going to-do the we will batter them,we are better than them stuff because its a dangerous game and will make us look like cocky tits if we mess up on Saturday,I just hope Moyes plays our game and lets the team play the way we have in the last few months dont worry about Liverpool let them worry about us
