I Don't Hate Liverpool....

Hate is a terrible, terrible word it makes me feel unwell whenever I hear or read it.

I have friends who support Liverpool and we get along just great, yes there is intense rivalry especially at derby time, but two of them came with me to watch Everton play in Brisbane preseason in 2010 and I would go with them if Liverpool came over.

What really causes me to dislike their club is the 'Oh woe is me' attitude towards everything its loathesome beyond belief.

Liverpool fans are fine generally when not talking about football.

When the conversation turns to football they are all blinkered one eyed arrogant bellwhiffs to a man.

From a football philosophy standpoint it amazes me that we come from the same city.

Is it just my Red-supporting mates who seem to be an expert on European football? Whenever we get on the subject of Serie A or La Liga, they suddenly become an expert, spouting off facts with a fake Spanish or Italian accent..

Nah I have friends like that too. Only those two leagues though. Any other leagues they wont lower themselves.

It's just odd, especially when they pronounce foreign names with a dodgy accent, just say it in English.

Just said on the news that a few websites have been found some set up in Manchester and Merseyside saying unflammatory words about the two policewomen being killed. Only guessing and therefore could be wrong but only reason any found in Merseyside will be due to the Liverpool fan hating United...

It's is stupid. It's this behaviour which annoys me regarding Kopites.

Hope the people in question go to jail.
