I got it all wrong, he did us alright today. Fair play, hats off where it's due.

Let us off the hook when he didn't give a penalty for Hull (and possibly a yellow for it to Barry)
Could and probably should have sent Barry off twice for build up of yellows, sadly let himself down with the Alcaraz red card, Jelavic dived and having let Barry off moments before it was going to happen. Shame he didn't remove Alcaraz a bit earlier because that was a boost to us - I watched him (Alcaraz) tackle himself, talk himself out of a challenge with no one, and hump it to Hull all day. It's a shame to pick just him out because the stinkfest that it was didn't leave him significantly worse than much else.

Nice we didn't get caught offside as much as well. Well done Lineo's.
Can't have been watching the same game as you. He was awful, for both sides. His major contribution to our downfall was booking Besic for his first, slightly mistimed tackle and then totally failing to do the same for the rest of the first half for fouls committed by the opposition. Besic couldn't make any challenges after that, something which will have been a factor in his substitution.

As a general comment on the application of yellow cards, it's noticeable this season how all sides (naturally the Everton Corinthians tend to be the exception) have taken to fouling the opposition whenever they see danger mounting. The refs will currently just issue yellows. Where there is deliberate intent that is not enough. Barkley has been a big target for this this season and yesterday he was the victim on several occasions, none more so than with 15 or so minutes to go when he got clean past their yard dog of a centre half with clear space in front of him, only to have his legs taken away with a disgraceful cynical tackle.
