me mate managed to get 2 boxes of some feller on the beach in cuba, got one confiscated in customs when leaving but managed to get one box home.
But he wont smoke them or let anyone else - whats the point, lifes to short.

I know a mate who took a box of cigars from Cuba and went to Santo Domingo then onto the States. In customs they found the box and when they established they were Cuban they took them out and made him snap them one by one. The way to get around it is taking the labels off the cigars and stashing them, hey presto "I bought them in the Dominican mate".
He brought one back for me, it was super.
They cost 35$ for a box of 25 "out the back of the factory" for a £25 quid cigar. There's a thriving black market in Cuba.

they're Cohibas, been kept in the packaging they were given to me in but do feel a bit dryer now
the smaller ones are Montechristo minis and are lovely
I left him a few other t-shirts and stuff, and the ex left some make up and nail varnish for his wife (anything oil based is ridiculously hard to get hold of in Cuba)
They love stuff like make up and stuff like that, and anything like nice smelling shampoo. Where did you go?
If you can get a cheap humidor somewhere it will moisten them back up again mate, they're good to keep Cohibas.

The best place you can go to the states if you smoke? Indian reservations. By law states can't do sales/tobacco/beer tax in Indian lands. So you could get a carton of cigs for as low as $8/US (name brands like Camel/Marlboro cost $25-30). 1 pack is $9.50 in NYC.
