Sunderland afc

Player Valuation: £8m
Is he regarded as a utter legend at Everton. Durham lad and of course despite what the mags say, Durham has the river wear running through it, not the bloody Tyne.

Anyway, I digress. Do you have a statue of him at Goodison?

Guess, no statue?

We've only got one statue at Goodison, for Dixie Dean. And that's 13 years old.

It's a strange one really, we've had lots of really great players and managers over our history, but we've never really gone in for statues. Part of that is due to there not being much free land around the ground.

If we ever move to a new stadium, I think we might see one or two more statues then. It would be quite the debate as to who should get one, that's for sure.

We only have stokoe.

Quinn will get one in due course, for all he did for the club.

Would personally like to see the 'Holy Trinity' get a statue if we were to move.

Legend's an overused word, but, no question about it, Kendall's a legend. Fantastic player ( even as player manager you could still see his class ) and a successful manager.

I love the Stokoe one. I go to the aways, and the best statues I've seen at the other grounds I've been to are the Stokoe one at Sunderland (classic pose, with his hat on) and Stoke City have a really nice, unique one for Sir Stanley Matthews. They're the ones that stick out in my mind.

His bar tab is framed in the trophy room.

There's always one...just like in Big Nev threads where someone will make a crack about his weight or his 2-week stint as a bin man.

Howard Kendall is Everton's Greatest Legend in my book. Dixie Dean and Neville Southall are right next to him.
