How young is too young?

No I don't mean pedophilia you bad blerts. I mean what's a reasonable age difference between a man and a woman? New girl at my part time job I'm sweet on. Had drinks after work tonight. Good time. Clearly chemistry happening but she's the "I don't want a relationship" type. Fair enough. She's 26. I'm 44. Too much? I'm trying to decide how much effort to put in. I have no doubt in my abilities to get her to like me, she already does FFS, that's obvious. The question is...is it worth it? What happens when the dog catches the car, so to speak?

I'm torn between liking younger women...I'm a "young" 44...and not wanting to be "that guy".

Depends what you're after doesn't it? Younger girls can have a decent figure still, but it's not often they have the personlity to match, not for someone older anyway. Give me older women any day.

Whatever works for you mate. There's no rules to these things. A friend of mine's little sister got together with "that guy" at 16. He was 30. 21 years and three kids down the line they're still together and still happy.
 
You're a long time dead, take your happiness where and when you can find it and worry about the future when it gets there...if indeed it does
 

If it bleeds it's old enough, so no worries for you mate albeit you could arguably reap greater rewards by realigning your attention towards someone more of your age.
 
I reckon you can get away with 24 like, 21'd be too young. It's an Investments really, she's a good ten years in her before she goes off. It's a war out there, we've got to pretend that we're deep and meaningful and out to make a connection and they've got to pretend that they're not all total assholes and that they don't care about money.

I would like to be "that" guy who has a 26 yr old when im going to be 44.
