How would you react if an Everton legend had very questionable views?

It appears that Matt Le Tissier has divided the Saint's fanbase with his questionable views regarding the COVID vaccine, and now recently has implied the media is lying about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He also compared the vaccine mandate to the suffering of Anne Frank in the past. But this guy was an absolute legend for the club, so many fans still support him whilst many also hate/abhor him for his views. He has now lost his ambassadorial role at Soton now, which is a shame imo.

This question is simple but how would you react if an Everton Legend such as Cahill, Baines, Jagielka, etc came out with these sort of views and being anti-establishment? Would you cancel the player? Or still support the player to the hilt because they provided you entertainment on the football field?
