How did you come in to being an evertonian? How were you chosen? I'll go first.

I was BORN in to a long line of evertonians, and when growing up, from the age of 0-24, I lived a stones throw away from the ground, (L4), honestly my nearest club in a straight line, as-the-crow-flies was everton. I went to my first game when we were title holders and have been going ever since.

Also, while doing my family tree, I found the vast majority of my family lived in everton/kirkdale in the era the club was formed.

So what's your story?

Family thing, Dad, his Dad, his Dad before him. Had a Man Utd shirt when I was 6-7 years old, Dad took it off me and explained how it was going to be, to my eternal gratitude!

Legend has it that, when my grandad moved over to Hoylake from Ireland, the blues had a few Irish lads playing for them, so he started going to watch them. Hence, dad grew up as an Evertonian and, obviously, I had no choice in the matter. Never bothered to check the facts as I'm quite happy with the tale.

One day I was just chillin' in my perspex box with me mates, and then a massive claw came down, picked me up, and I was dispenced down some shoot and have been held prisoner ever since.

I was the first of my family... dad not interested in football at all..... I think I just wanted to be different to everyone else at school who were redshoite...... supported us now for just over 30 years.... my Brother has for 29 years and my youngest brother has had it drummed into him off us since he was born so for him thats 26 years...... deffo the right and best decision I have ever made.

Everyone in my family historically were reds.

But then my grandad went to his first Liverpool game, sat in the kop, and they won 4-0. He said he couldn't quite put his finger on it but something just didn't seem right.
Then he went to an Everton match (much to the displeasure of his dad/brothers/cousins). We drew 1-1 and he absolutely loved it.

Never looked back.

My dad.

My Grandad was from Peckham and a Tottenham fan, he passed away last month, very proud man and paid for all 4 of his grand children to have season tickets with Everton, so they are a club I hold close to my heart for his sake, but Evertonian through and through.

1966 watched the fa cup final was hooked on the blues, glory hunter! [Poor language removed] that didn't quite work out like it was supposed to.

My dad was a massive evertonian - him and my uncle followed the blues home and away back in the day (before pesky wives and kids came along) so it just sort of happened. My grandad was a red but he took my dad to a game at Goodison against Blackpool when Stanley Matthews was playing (my grandad was a massive Matthews fan and always wanted to see him play live). My dad loved it at Goodison, became a blue and he passed it on to me. The rest of my family are reds :(
