It's not only this goal that has had little acclaim from the English media, it's his whole performance -- 14 goals from a midfielder and hardly a word spoken about it.

Maybe because a lot of midfielders outscored him? Hazard, Sterling, mane etc. All player similarly advanced positions to gylfi.

Who are the etc? You said there are a lot I'd expect that to be more than the three you mentioned, especially as you say etc.

Its just like the NBCSports(who does all the premier league games in the states) top 25 most brilliant goals of the season. Didnt include multiple Everton goals, including a couple of Digne's, AND didnt include Siggurdson's. Not even top 25.

Origis tap in header against us was 4th, and just about every fan of every team that watched the top 25 goals absolutely ripped them for even putting that in the top 25.
