How Tony Hibbert changed our season.

well. I guess you could say that by unfairly, yet HEROICLY, baring the brunt of the fans criticism during our slow start to the season when in truth the whole team was at fault, he deflected the pressure off the shoulders of others, thus allowing them to eventually go forth and shine. step forward, seamus coleman.

well, either way, tony deserves some form of credit. at some point in his career.. poor thing.

Rhino got dumped on quite a few times when he was with us, so did Stubbsy, so does Osman.

They are not big named players, but they helped us get where we are in the reputation stakes, and in the league. Too many times they turn up and do the job and take the brunt when the supposed stars screw up.

They are not world class, but they have been Everton class, and the best we had at the time.

We have moved on, but they will go down in my memory as the unsung heroes, and the stalwarts of my club.

Pointless thread with inaccurate comments about Hibbert. Sorry for not being happy with it.
