Greetings Blues,
I'm just going to be honest, I have no idea how to go about getting tickets to the Merseyside Derby in October. So, I'm calling on the experience and knowledge of some veteran Blues here on GOT. Being an Everton fan for 10 years here in the USA, it was never something that concerned me. However, since we will be visting London in October, I like to get 2 tickets for me and my wife.

Searching the forum here it seems there is more to it than simply logging onto Evertonfc.com and purchasing tickets. If it's actually that simple, well... cheers!

So, when do tickets generally go on sale? How hard is it to get tickets? How would I go about purchasing them? Ideally, I could get some tickets in Upper Bullens, middle of the pitch, but to be honest I would take seats anywhere! Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just sign up to evertonfc.com and register with the eticketing service, just keep checking on there for the availablilty and for when they go on sale, generally 3-4 week before, obviously the best seats will go pretty sharpish so be on the ball mate but you should deffo get a ticket somewhere, it is that simple!

What he said, plus, when you're choosing your tickets, you can see which seats have restricted views ( I think they're in Green and you need to "choose specific seats" rather than "get best seats". It'll be clearer when you see it ). Obviously, unless you love pillars, try and avoid these, but also try and avoid the seats which are next to / close to the "officially resticted view" tickets. Those seats themselves often involve an awful lot of trying to peer round pillars, generally just as Baines whips in a cross for someone to get on the end of !

Wow, guess I was making it harder than it had to be. Thanks for the information! I will watch it like a hawk and try and snatch a few tickets soon after they go on sale. Read more than a few posts that mentioned the dreaded "restricted view" seats then looked at a few locations using Evertonfc.com. Seems one of the better seats for a view of the whole pitch would be the Uppers of the sidelines (Gwlady or Bullens). Granted, the only soccer games I have been to were a Leicester friendly and Dallas FC, both of which were in dismal attendance.
