yeah i know its his first and middle name jack daniel miller could not resist. More to my surprise the Mrs let me. It was the other day that got me thinking it was time to take him, he now knows who everton are and blue is his favourate a colour and when we scored against chealsea he started cheering and clapping then when they equalised he started crying. That was it for me a blue was born officially in my eyes, made me so proud

He'll have to get used to that. :(

I was probably around 3 or 4 when I went to my first match, don't remember it like but that's what my parent have told me.

Having only read the title I thought this thread was going to refer to something different though...

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace! F'in love that show!

I cant remember how old i was but it was Stockport away. Roughly ten years ago so i would have 4/5.

I have to say - and shocking parenting it is - that I took my eldest (who's now 12) to Yeovil in a pre-season friendly when he was 3 months old!! I kept him in his car seat as we were stood on the terraces. Took the missus as well! We both kept taking him out and holding him - he was all wrapped up. Many blues around us were loving it - telling me "start him early lad"...

Since then he's been to two derbies - first was around 3 yrs old - he got easily bored (it was the Macallister derby); second one was the Carsley derby and he started a chant!!! Loved it! I was so proud!

Took my 4 yo to the Southampton game as well. Too young for it really, but was happy enough playing with his cars around the seats. Got the dreaded ' Daddy I need a poo' meaning the Gwladys St bogs, but even that wasn't as bad as I feared.

Think it's hard for the bairns to really see the game in the Gwladys, end on like that. When he's a bit older I'll take him to sit somewhere else, Main Stand maybe.

I was 7. New Years Day 1997 v Blackburn. Just old enough to get it and resent my father for turning me into the rageful mess I am today.
