How much worse is it worth getting to get better?

Oh undeniably. It could all go horribly wrong, and we could end up mired in the Championship (or worse!) for years. But are people really prepared to put up with another ten years of flattering to deceive and grabbing the odd Europa campaign, or if Moyes goes and we drop off, spending 10 years in mid table obscurity? Or are people willing to take that risk in the hope that the club will come back stronger? Or are they, like Moyes, happy to muddle along, with no sign of ambition or upward mobility?

I'm sure every club in the Championship would gladly swap their position for ours, future prospects and all. It's hard to believe that relegation out of the top flight will somehow lead to success greater than what we have now. The norm for the past few seasons has been us in the mix for Europa League qualification and a run to the quarter finals in a cup competition. For us to improve on this, we'd have to regularly be in the mix for Champions League qualification. Relegation to challenging for 4th place in a shorter time than just sticking it out with the current regime? Unlikely.

And then started talking getting relegated and finding a buyer, so i simply asked you what buyer worth their salt you think would buy a team who makes no money, has £50m of debt, and no real assets off the pitch.

I think the fact that you're moaning about my post instead of actually answering the question says a lot, really.

If you had anything useful to add or ask I might do so, but as you're clearly only here to troll and belittle I don't see the point. Interesting that you seem to think I should respond appropriately to your question when you can be bothered to do so to the OP.

No doubt. But for them being in the top half of the premiership with the occasional european campaign is something to aspire to, but it's not for us. People seem to think that change is just around the corner, and Bill is gonna give up his 'train set' in a few years. I just don't see that happening any time soon. Something drastic is going to have to happen to drive change at our club, otherwise we will probably spend the next ten years in the same position we are now, or worse, with no prospect of improvement.
