I'd go with about 32-33K out of 40K - 4K for away fans=3K left to sell, half of which are 'obstructed' to one degree or another

Put it this way, every single league game this season has sold out, often a week or more in advance.

Even Palace on a Friday night, live on tv.

That was 6 weeks before season started tho !

Despite the fact that we finished in the bottom half again. And to think that the kopites say that we're not a big enough club to have a 60,000 capacity stadium!
