How long will the new Man United manager last ?

I hope Moyes does well and beats the RS often.

I'm more arsed about us beating them often TBH. It's no achievement of Evertons for Man Utd to beat them IMO. In fact if he started turning them over all he time arguably it'd make us look worse.

He's brilliant at signing good players for low fee's. The problem is most United fans will be underwhelmed with the Jagielka's of this world and will think they should be going for the Varane's. I'm not saying he couldn't sign them players. Just it's different to what he's done before.
This is one of the reasons Moyes was chosen for Man u, as they cant compete with Man city and Chelsea on massive bids, he only got us jags cos he fit the budget, im sure he could find better quality for Man u.

Maybe. Wenger has the money to spend but can't get out of the buy low and develop mindset. Maybe Moyes will struggle with this.

Problem is it can take a long time to see the deterioration of quality as it happens in small increments.

I'm not stating this as a fact just that it's something that could happen. He may also be sick of the Whoopsies counter and go and spend

Wenger flaw is buying to many kids that take years to develop, Moyes get players around 24 and turns them into top professional premiership players. Wenger have found world class talent where Moyes hadn't yet. He made a lot of money on players such as Rooney, Rodwell and Lescott which had helped his net spend. It will be a different ball game at Man u tho, don't forget Man u have more scouts all over Europe and a bigger pot, would like to see if the nickname dithering dave comes back at Man u.

I wish him all the best, he deserves to have a shot at the top of the league and on the European stage.

The only time I don't want him to do well is when United play us, apart from that I'll be chuffed to see him win a trophy.

Seems to me like the people who liked/loved Moyes are far less concerned with how he does at Man U than the people who disliked him. I think he'll do okay and be given a fair amount of time to prove himself (the Glazers could not care less what fans think) but as someone else said I only care in so far as it would stop a team like City winning.

Man u were the first club to pay huge fees and over the top wages, examples are Rio and Rooney

They were, but I think a lot of people see them differently because they earned their money by winning trophies first and gaining a huge global following, City and Chelsea have been bankrolled and not "earned" it in the same way.
