Threaten him with some grotesque sexual violence or something FFS. You may as well be trying to "torture" him with some pre match snacks to go with punishing him with the World Cup.

Round of 16 -- out on pens. They should be able to beat Costa Rica. Plus Hodgson is pretty adept at getting draws. Draws suck for your club side but they come in pretty handy in a tourney. So I think they'll come out of the group with 4-5 pts. Also Costa Rica isn't that good but they are good enough to take pts off someone in one of their 3 matches. However if that is England they are out.
