London or the provinces.. with the money being the same or better in London?

Says everything about todays footballers.

The barcodes have lost half the first team this year, mostly their better players - not going to compete for the league are they?

Loic Remy: QPR set to beat Newcastle for Marseille striker

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21020992

Queens Park Rangers are close to completing the £8m signing of Loic Remy after hijacking Newcastle's move for the France striker.
The 26-year-old had been due to arrive on Tyneside for talks on Sunday night but did not appear.
QPR matched Marseille's asking price and have now offered Remy a more lucrative contract, understood to be more than £70,000 per week.
Remy had previously indicated he would not join the Loftus Road club.

Newcastle are privately stunned by the turnaround but there is a sense that if Remy sees the QPR offer as a better deal, then this setback may ultimately prove a blessing to the club.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes Remy's goals may be enough to lift the club away from relegation having scouted the player a number of times this season.
Remy has made 14 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille this season but only started two games.
He was left out of Marseille's squad for their trip to Sochaux on Sunday.
Magpies manager Alan Pardew had identified Remy as the man to replace the departed Demba Ba.

Unbelievable that the team at the bottom of the league can pay a player this much money. He won't even be their top earner either.

How far have they fallen? From where exactly? One year over achieved; Keegans 2 years of nearly something. About where they should be IMO.

Agreed. Their claim to fame was blowing a 12 point lead in the mid-90's when the league title looked certain.

This bunch of striped charlatans havnt fallen at all they are still what they always were: a joker bunch of dog turds floating around the toilet bowl of life with no chance and no inclination to strive for more. In dog racing terms they are the hound that never caught the electric rabbit that time it broke down at the track but still thought "f*** it" anyway and gave up.

clearly for money,but...........London bright lights or a cold north east city ,bit of a culture shock for a lad from Lyon. Not defending him here but you could see how the money seals the deal
