Woke up this morning feeling good, 3 wins and a draw out of four for a team who won 1 in 3 for the last couple of years. I am not naive, I know there are 34 games to go, I know lots of bad things can happen between now and next May but the league table looks good, we have 10 points in the bag and two away wins.
More notable is the fact we have a manager who could have come out last night and basked in the glory of his success but he didn't, he pointed out the shortcomings; shows he wants better.
I, for one, feel good to be an Evertonian today and I am looking forward to see what we can do against Middlesbrough. It has been a while since I have said that.
Enjoy the moment.

Great start but apart from Spurs we haven't played any top teams yet. The fixture list has been kind at the start. Having said that we have always been capable of losing to the likes of Westbrom etc. So it's been a great start.

Let's not get too excited just yet. It's pleasing, but we'll have a better idea how far we've progressed by the time we've played city.

Looking at the fixture list at the beginning of last month I fully expected us to be within the top 4 - I fully expect us to be by the time we go to mancunia.

...Sunderland are woeful, we were poor in the first half but it's great to have so many points when we are in a building phase.

20 points at Xmas is just about ok, below it and we're in a dog fight. 25+ points is very interesting.

Feels good to be winning games that I believe we should be winning. Last 2 years it's been Stoke at home and the like and saying "oh yeah we'll do these" and ending up going home dejected because we got beat. Granted it's only a few games in but if we carry on winning the games we should be winning and get a few good results against the likes of United etc then we should be excited for the season. Koeman has been our best signing by far in the transfer window. Him taking Barkley off last night would never have happened under Martinez and it absolutely changed the game.

It feels brilliant, there's so much pace in the team now and there's people on the bench who can change games. Then there's the manager, brutally honest and willing to change tactics at any point in the game if things aren't going right. A couple more transfer windows and who knows how good we might be.

Feels great! If only we had put our chances away in the first half of the spurs game. Would of been 4 from 4, however 3 from 4 isn't something I'm going to complain about.

We look like a competent team again. That is fantastic by itself!

But It is hard to argue that Koeman is a much better manager than Martinez ever will be, we can just hope we keep this going every week because all we need to do is win the following game over and over and special things may happen.

Plus 3 points off stoke is great considering we normally slip up against them

Very much this for me. Happy, but knowing it's been a kind opening...however...after reading about the clubs donation, I'm over the friggin' Moon with pride! COYB!
