They have a good team, near the top 10 if not in it. I don't think anyone believes that they are the 3rd best team in the world.

they should never be in the top10 anyway. we are gash, and have been gash for a long time. Even in euro 96 which people think was the last time we were really good, we were gash apart from beating holland.

I'm not sure of the theory some of you are suggesting. Unless it's changed. I can remember in the late 90s and early noughties Spain being higher than England. We were doing as well as them in tournament final phases (or better), and playing harder teams in qualification (Germany and Italy compared to the likes of Cypress and Latvia). I think it's all a scam.
