It's quite hard to find free sheet music out there but its possible. try googling free sheet music for trumpet mate. Is there anything particular you want to play? I can tell you the notes if you like

Chords lad, chords. Good on you for sticking at it though. Can't be an easy instrument to learn. Just make sure your dads settled down in front of the telly before starting to practise. If he kicks off, get up good and early tomorrow to make the time up. You've got to practise or you'll never get better.
